Sie haben mich eher noch darin bestärkt, dass es sinnvoll ist, an die Arbeit zu gehen. Es geht um eine Verwandlung. Das alte Prinzip Mütterlichkeit soll in eine neue zukunftsfähige, wertgeschätzte Qualität transformiert werden. Eine Tra- formation, die uns alle angeht: Männer und Frauen! Mütterlichkeit ist eine ko- naked existenzielle menschliche Qualität, auf die wir alle unser ganzes Leben lang angewiesen sind, das wird zu belegen sein. Noch ist in Deutschland Mütterlichkeit altmodisch, anstrengend und - attraktiv. Warum ist das so? Im Verlauf von zwei Jahrzehnten Mütterberatung und Miterleben als Mutter mit Müttern habe ich entdeckt, dass sich ein roter Faden durch all die individuellen persönlichen Mutterbiografien zieht. Diesen roten Faden galt es, sichtbar zu machen, ihn zu reflektieren.
